Jen and Tanjariitta envisioned Blue Star as a place where people could gather, reflect, and celebrate in close connection with the land.
Tanjariitta
Raised in rural Finland, Tanjariitta’s relationship with nature began in the forests around her childhood home. Her Finnish heritage is present here in the sauna tradition and the care given to the place.

Tanjariitta learned the basics of sauna building from her father, Aarno. The Blue Star sauna was built in his memory.
Here, that family story meets Montana’s forests, creating a place to slow down and gather in a different way.
